The 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15) kicks off in Kunming, the capital city of southwest China’s Yunnan Province on October 11, 2021.
COP 15 will be held in two phases: a virtual format from October 11-15, 2021 and an in-person event in the first half of 2022.
Themed "Ecological Civilization: Building a Shared Future for All Life on Earth", the event will review the post-2020 biodiversity framework and set new global biodiversity targets for 2030.
